Perfect for a quick stopover

We stayed here for a night while visiting family. The rooms were super spacious and clean, and for £50 a night, it was a steal! The free parking was a plus, and the staff were really friendly, even got us an extra pillow no problem. Breakfast was decent, nothing amazing, but filled us up. The only thing was the vending machine snacks were kinda pricey.

I stayed for one night in a Double Room. The breakfast offered a variety of choices. The space was clean and inviting. Check-in was quick and friendly. Convenient parking available. 🅿️

the holiday inn express felt warm and cosy on a cold winter night. the staff at check-in were super welcoming and made us feel right at home. our room was spotless and spacious, and the breakfast area was clean too. i loved relaxing in the great room with a drink after a busy day around town.

Breakfast featured a sufficient variety of options, including cooked items and cereals, in a pleasant dining area. The hotel’s proximity to the M6 made it easy for travel.

Noise from nearby traffic was noticeable.

Great staff and a clean, cozy atmosphere

I had a pleasant stay in a Double Room, where I found the atmosphere warm and inviting, especially on a winter night. The staff made check-in quick and welcoming, and my room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast offered a variety of good quality items, which I enjoyed thoroughly. The location is convenient for exploring nearby attractions, but the noise from the adjacent roads could be a drawback for some guests.

A good deal at £53, but the hotel lacked basic quality. The mattress was uncomfortable, leaving us gravitating to the middle during the night. Cleanliness was an issue, with dust and hair found on the floor. The shower temperature was fixed, and the toilet had poor flushing pressure, causing a loud disturbance all night. The breakfast, however, offered a nice variety, including buttermilk biscuits, which was a pleasant surprise.
